As we are ending 2011, I look back at all the fun days! With each one, I can remember all the times my friends have asked me... "When are you going to start a Event Planning business?" I heard it so often that I started to believe this could be possible. I love to throw parties!
Starting my business with Vintage Couture as a Fashion Stylist has inspired me to dream and think BIG! I have always been a dreamer but why not think BIG? If not NOW then when? That was my biggest question.
The launch of Vintage Couture has been successful and friends and women every where are beginning to add pieces of Vintage Couture into their wardrobes! Especially Grace, she has become quite the fashionista!
Now for the parties we had this year, they were also a success. I been so blessed to have such amazing partners to help create many Dreams come true. Kim Kirker has been an amazing friend and phographer and homes everywhere are popping up with her memory making photos! Kari Cook from Victoria's Salon and Spa, an artist herself has dolled up many of the models with Vintage Couture and many friends and family with her fabulous hair designs. Thankfully, she is alway up to date with the latest hair trends and fashions. Many thanks to fabulous Ditzie Cakes and Donna B's for your fabulous dessert treats!
Now its time for YOU too to create your memories. With a little help from GEM Sweets you too can fancy up your parties!
Party Planning can also be one of your finest memories! From Themes to the Treats it all takes time and inspiration, with that, I hope to bring you some of the finest inspirations from our parties and some of my favorite blogs I will encounter this next year!
I want to thank my 92 year old Grandfather, his zest for life has inspired me to never give up! He in his own way is the leader of parties! There is not a day that he is not celebrating life! From the simplest breakfast to a family reunion, there is never a dull moment. Planning is what he loves to do!
That is why GEM Sweets has been created. I want to have a place where all my friends and family can enjoy coming to, along with the opportunity to find great Party Props for your special events! A place where I can help you create that magical moment whether it be a Birthday, Friends gathering or a Special Day.
I will only carry my favorites as I know they will be your favorites too!
